A few weeks back, between the 21-24 November, we had a last minute opportunity to exhibit at Taste of London in the beautiful setting of Tobacco Dock.
Most brands book these sorts of events months in advance and have the marketing clout, personnel and practice to make themselves shine.
We had 4 evenings around our day jobs to make this happen across the 3 strong team at The Guayusa Co, James, Hailey and Mark.
Needless to say we worked ours socks off (powered by Guayusa, of course) and were grateful to enlist the support of some friends and family to help human the stall as we worked also around other commitments such as family birthdays.
Without all the packing, organisation, heavy lifting, long carrying of all the kit, multiple car trips, the logistics of it all, setting up card readers, battery packs, change, water, kettle, urns, bags, cups, lids, bin bags, cameras, stirrers we also had tons of last minute forms to fill in, and marketing assets to create and upload too.
Hailey even is hand cut out 1,000 '20% off' voucher slips as we didn't have time to turnaround an outsource print!
Luckily we had most of the main assets ready to pull it off from the several markets we've already clocked up in and around our home town of Beckenham.
By some luck the stand (which was a last minute drop out via another brand who couldn't make it) we had was three metres across, the same as our market gazebo - so our existing banners and bar table slotted in perfectly!
It was pretty neat to have ended up pitched next to Actimel and other amazing brands too :)
The event had a footfall of thousands per day and we sampled thousands of cups of hot Guayusa tea with optional Agave nectar for sweetener.
The feedback we had was so incredibly positive it only validated how amazing this leaf that's come into our lives is.
By the end of the four days we'd educated hundreds of people about Guayusa tea and its benefits. People really got it and loved it.
Hailey, our amazing multi-talented designer and director of all things creative filmed and edited this little showreel of our time there. Check it out below :)
